Dr Carles Morera is taking part in the first clinical trial on the use of stem cells in the regeneration of the intervertebral discs of the lumbar spine. The results of this study were published in Transplantation and a press release was issued on the subject by Instituto Carlos III, an institute of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
