Modernist Fair of Terrassa: The great celebration of Catalan Modernism. A surprising trip to the past to reproduce the modernist splendor of Terrassa of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Singular characters, historical re-enactments, traditional artisans, visits to the main modernist buildings, exhibitions, shows and above all the warmth of the people who star in the Fair in the street with their period costume, offer us the opportunity to live a unique experience.

The City Council of Terrassa promoted the Modernist Fair of Terrassa in 2003 with the aim of recovering the old tradition of the Spring Fair, which was institutionalized in Terrassa in 1228 by a privilege of King Jaume I.

Since 2007, the Modernist Fair of Terrassa has been declared by the Generalitat of Catalonia as a local festival of tourist interest. In 2010, this contest also won one of the Catalonia Prizes for Communication and Public Relations in the category of tourism activities, awarded by the Catalan Association of Communication and Public Relations and the Foundation for the Promotion of Communication and Development.
